Paddlers' Realm adds Valley Sea Kayaks and Nigel Dennis Kayaks to the fleet. Both Valley Sea Kayaks and Nigel Dennis Kayaks are well crafted vessels constructed to handle the rigors of Sea paddling. Snowshoeing and paddling: Typically calm seas and snow still fresh from winter create perfect conditions for traveling by kayak then snowshoe.
Annual pilgrimage to catch a glimpse at Mt.Smiley: Each year our early season trips have paddled across the path of this natural phenomenon, (seen in picture above). There is a certain window to view this occurrence before the snow melt distrorts and conceals it. This is just one of the many hidden secrets within the Sound.
June and July Milk the midnight sun: Discover what it's like to paddle through the night and sleep during the day. Take your watch off and forget about the time! As the most accessible areas see thier greatest use, try Island hoping and circumnavigations to negotiate the peak season.
August Summit trips: With the majority of the snow melted, access to summits is optimal. Paddle to campsites at the base of incredible hiking spots. Establish a base camp and set off for day hikes to peaks, to spend the day by a freshwater lake, to explore varoius climate zones: rainforest, peatland bogs, and alpine tundra.
